Three pieces cut from the same fabric so the print runs uninterrupted from the knotted headband to the ruffled bloomer hem. The dress has a flutter-sleeve ruffle yoke that sits wide across small shoulders, with box pleats falling from the yoke seam into a swinging A-line skirt. The bloomers and headband are made from the same cloth, so the set reads as one considered thing rather than a mix of separates.

The bloomer waist is fully elasticated and the leg openings finish with a soft ruffle cuff — no rough edges against leg creases. The headband is cut on the bias with a gathered elastic band so it stretches without gripping. Each piece holds its shape and its print through washing, and the swing skirt gives enough room for nappies without pulling at the yoke.
